Vabi Sabi (Japanese 侘び = Wabi Sabi, Lithuanian modest simplicity) is a philosophy of Japanese aesthetics that originated in Zenbudism. The meaning of the word beetle derived from the verb wabir (Japanese 侘びる), which means something long, Wabishii (Japanese 侘しい) - lonely, abandoned, poor. The word Sabi first used the poet Fujivara NO Tošinari (Japanese 藤原釈阿 Fujiwara No Toshinari) to convey a sense of destruction. Another meaning of beetle is the longing for us, Sabi - the beauty of short -term moments. Vabi Sabi philosophy was a resistance to understanding perfect beauty in the Middle Ages. According to its origin, Vabi Sabi is the worldview that emerged as resistance against what is accepted and conventionally. Vabi Sabi's main qualities: modesty, minimalism, exclusivity, unique and uneven shapes.

Vabi Sabi means understanding the essence of your life easier, giving up excess, which only interferes with personality formation and true desires. It is an inadequate beauty that exists in modest, rustic, imperfect or even damaged areas. Vabi Sabi is expressed as an aesthetic feeling that finds melancholic beauty in all things.
